Boiler Tube Cleaning
Boiler Acid Chemical Cleaning
The acid boiler washing method involves manually removing sediment from both sides of the condenser and then performing an acid wash for any remaining sediment. To create the acid solution, a certain percentage of acid is added to water, and the mixture is pumped into the chiller. After the acid wash is complete, an alkaline substance is used to neutralize the chiller environment, followed by a final rinse with water. Boiler acid washing should be performed regularly, typically once a year, and is recommended before initial start-up and during service. Sediments and oils can accumulate in the chiller pipes, affecting performance, so acid washing is necessary even for boilers that have been turned off for a while and are intended to be serviced and used again.
